Education

McKenzie County School District No. 1, located in Watford City, currently has over 2,000 students enrolled in grades PK-12 with a student-teacher ratio of 15 to 1. The school district is comprised of two elementary schools, grades K-5, one middle school (grades 6-8) and one high school (grades 9-12). Aside from an outstanding academic curriculum, the district offers art, music, drama, athletics and technology opportunities to build upon the students education and life skills.
